Annual tournament jointly sponsored by the WSMGA and WLGA organizations.

 

 

Date and Time:  
Tuesday, July 16, 2023, 8:00 Shotgun Start

 

Sign-up Deadline:     
Thursday, July 11th  at 5:00 pm.

 

Cost:  
$30.00 entry fee per person which includes $10.00 for the prize fund, and $20.00 for carts.  Carts will be required. Lunch will be pre-ordered by each participant at check-in.   

Format:  

We will play a four person team scramble.  Each team must use at least two tee shots from each member.  Teams will consist of two men and two ladies selected using the ABCD process.  Spouses may play together and must be indicated as such at registration.  Every effort will be expended to field four person teams.  If we have to field any three person teams, each team must designate the holes each person will hit two shots prior to start of the round.

 

Tees:
Ladies will play from the Green tees.  Men will play from the tees they qualify for under WSMGA tee policy. Men playing from the more difficult tees will have their handicaps adjusted using WHS guidelines. Men may play from more difficult tees than they qualify for if they so choose but must notify the Pro Shop 24 hours in advance in order to be able to do so.

 

Handicaps:
Your team’s handicap will be a combined total of the team members’ handicaps based on the following.

    A Player:  25%
    B Player:  20%
    C Player:  15%
    D Player:  10%

The total team handicap will be subtracted from your team’s gross score after the round has been completed. Maximum handicaps for individual players will be 36 for men and 40 for ladies after all adjustments have been made.

 

Flights:
This will be a non-flighted tournament.

 

Prizes:
Four teams will be recognized assuming at least ten teams.  For nine teams or less we will recognize three teams.  Prizes will be awarded during lunch following play and will be posted to the winning teams’ club accounts using “Club Credits”.  All ties will be broken using the Golf Genius scorecard playoff process.

 

Play-off Process:
We will follow USGA scorecard process guidelines.

 

Additional Games
There will be a closest to the pin contest on hole 2 for men and hole 15 for ladies.  The winners of each contest will win a special prize.

 

Mulligan's:  Each team may purchase up to four Mulligan's (1 for each team member).  These will be collected in the Pro Shop when you sign-in for the tournament.  The cost for Mulligan’s will be $5.00/team and will be the responsibility of the women in each foursome. 

Posting Scores
Due to the Scramble format, scores cannot be posted for this event.
